3. Information Security

Users agree not to tamper with, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to any component of the VR system. Any attempt to compromise the platform’s stability, bypass access controls, or engage in fraudulent activity may result in the immediate suspension of access and legal or disciplinary measures.

Intellectual Property

Teaching Materials
Teaching materials prepared by faculty are subject to copyright. Their use is not permitted for purposes other than the teaching of the subject within this learning platform. Dissemination or publication through any other channel is also prohibited. The use and dissemination of these materials for any other purposes will require the express authorization of USC and the AQUATECHInn 4.0 consortium.

Consultation Materials
The works available on this e-learning platform are protected by copyright, and their reproduction and public communication are made under the authorization established in Article 32.4 of the Intellectual Property Law. Any reproduction, distribution, transformation, or public communication through any medium and in any form beyond the scope of this authorization must be subject to a specific license from the copyright management entity, CEDRO.

Student Materials
Student materials found in the classroom must respect the intellectual and industrial property rights of the creators. When using citations, they must be properly referenced. This material may only be used by its author for teaching, learning, or research purposes, and always with reference to the holder of the intellectual property rights.

Data Protection

It is the legal duty of each and every member of the university community who accesses personal data in the virtual classroom to comply with data protection regulations. Therefore, personal data in the classrooms may not be used for any purposes other than teaching and learning and may not be disseminated through any medium, including social networks. Downloading and sharing class lists or grade lists that appear in virtual classrooms via social networks is strictly prohibited.

Information Security

The regulations on information security and the use of ICTs are also applicable to the use of the virtual classroom. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in administrative liability.

Final Clauses

By accepting these terms of service (ToS) of our e-learning platform, you commit to setting up a strong password and keeping it secure, not sharing it with anyone else. You also agree to respect other users at all times; not to use illegal methods or techniques to gain fraudulent access to resources or outcomes; not to share your credentials, which must be protected under any circumstances; and to be aware that you are responsible and legally liable for any illegal operation in the system, especially if your actions lead to platform instability or harm to other users. Please note that any misbehavior will result in losing access to the platform and will be reported to the corresponding authorities for further legal or administrative actions.

The e-learning platform is intended and prepared to support the pilots of AQUATECHInn 4.0 during the project duration. Therefore, the procedures, protocols, and technical resources dedicated to the platform are designed and intended to cover the pilots described in the work plan. Despite the team's efforts to provide the most stable and up-to-date platform, CiTIUS-USC is not liable for any potential disruption of the platform or any data loss. The CiTIUS-USC team will proceed to restore the service as soon as possible based on the budgetary resources assigned and the technical restrictions, assuming that the issue is not due to external factors or misoperations by the partners, in which case further investigation prior to service restoration would be required.
